Description

A documentary about the imprisonment and eventual release of a family of political prisoners in Argentina. In 1975 Juan Carlos Rodrigues and his pregnant wife Marisa were arrested and like thousands of other political prisoners, suffered severe physical and psychological abuse. For a year they had absolutely no contact with the outside world: They had “disappeared”. They were separated but eventually all were released and now live in America. The morale of Juan Carlos was sustained by the knowledge that people were working for his release, and during the last years of his imprisonment he was able to send letters and pictures to his wife and son, using colours made from prison food.

The imagery and film quality may not be to modern standards but is useful for historical use.
