How the pressure group started. It is difficult for a girl to bring up a child on her own. Although society is “permissive”, when a child is born the mother is condemned by the same society. These young women are fighting for their rights and for those of their children, and some of their attitudes, especially towards men, should spark off a lively discussion.
This film made in 1978 reflects the cultural and political attitudes of the time it was made. The imagery and film quality may not be to modern standards.This should not diminish its value as a historic record.
