A documentary about the Koalas playgroup in Swindon, where handicapped and non-handicapped children play together. It follows the stories of three families in particular, and shows how much difference the playgroup has made for them: a place where they can meet other people with similar problems and where their children can enjoy themselves.
Made in 1989 this film reflects the cultural attitudes and language of the time it was made. The issues raised are timeless. The film quality may not be to modern standards.
