Chimpanzees and gorillas are mankind’s closest relatives but throughout the forests of Africa these great apes are in peril. The hunting of these species for their meat and for babies as pets is taking a devastating toll. Shows the results of an investigation into this trade in four African countries. As trade, the work of sanctuaries which rehome these animals is shown.
