Description
Part of Living in Styal, which shows the lives of women in a secure prison. Shows life in the punishment block. Anne is kept in a special cell, and wears indestructible clothing, because she assaulted two officers and then injured herself. Raises the question of whether women like her should be in prison at all.
Made in 1982 this film reflects the cultural attitudes and language of the time it was made. The issues raised are timeless.
