Apartheid – The Two Rivers. 1986

After twenty years as a migrant laborer and three brutal stints in detention for his opposition to apartheid, Rashaka leads us on a journey from the “independent” rural enclave of Venda to the heart of Johannesburg. This is more than a trip across a map; it is an unflinching look at the political and cultural soul of a nation under fire.
