A film about young lesbians aged 16 – 23 from Newcastle, Liverpool and London in which they talk confidently for themselves about being lesbians in society with a dominant heterosexual bias. This film was made over a two-year peropd by taping interivews with the people involved, then working together on the scripts in which they acted themselves. It is a film which portrays lesbianism at a legitimate alternative and invites people to examine their attitude. Hopefully it will be shown in schools where very necessary discussions can begin to take place.
The imagery and film quality may not be to modern standards but is useful for historical use.
