Description

Shows the main stages in the making of a small pipe organ with modern case work. The making and voicing of both the wooden and metal pipes is shown and explained, and the film follows the slow and painstaking assemble of the main parts in the workshop and its final construction in a church in Edinburgh. Commentary by John Mander, son of the founder of the small firm of Mander & Son in East London.
