This film documents the election period in February 1990 when Sandanista government was defated, and the months that followed, when Nicarguans tried to defend the hard won gains of the revolution against US backed UNO government attacks. The film-makers travelled round meeting various groups in Nicaragua and listened to their reactions.

The imagery and film quality may not be to modern standards but is useful for historical use.
