Description
Refugee camps were severely damaged by the Israeli invasion of Lebanon in June 1982, leaving refugees homeless and battered. Shows how they managed to survive, and dug in the debris of their homes for posessions lost, whilst UNRWA attempted to provide food and health care. The second film shows the reconstruction of the camp, and how education of the children resumed.
The imagery and film quality may not be to modern standards but is useful for historical use.
