Description
Looks critically at the divorce laws of the era (1987) which caused so much legal wrangling and bitterness after couples split up. Some men felt they beared an impossible financial burden. The programme looks at several cases and also shows an experimental centre in Bristol where couples can talk over differences without legal battles.
The imagery and film quality may not be to modern standards but is useful for historical use.
