One of two documentary film studies of the long-term effects of physical violence. “Domestic Incident” reveals the private violence that can occur within a family – what it means to live in a household where violent behaviour is part of everyday life, where there seems to be no hope and often no reason for violence. For many people, the real ordeal begins when the violence ends.
The imagery and film quality may not be to modern standards but is useful for historical use.
