Description

Dr Helen Caldicott has left her patients in America to travel and lecture on what she considers the most important issue of our time – the nuclear threat. She addresses herself particularly to women, and to doctors, but all should listen to her. War is the greatest threat – the possible extinction of life on earth, but she claims that this is linked up with nuclear power. In well reasoned talk, which gives in some detail of the effects of radiation as well as the way that reactons can go wrong with disastrous results, she tries to make us all more aware of the appalling dangers which face us, and to encourage us to take some sort of action before it is too late.

The imagery and film quality may not be to modern standards but is useful for historical use.
