A film about seven groups of young people trying to create permanent employment for themselves. A couple of them are just starting. Colignum in Bristol have been in business for six years. They are all limited liability businesses. They are also worker’s co-operatives. They are going through problems common to any new small business. Setting out in business involves huge risks – personal as well as financial. With the right kind of help and guidance, these risks can be reduced. Financial success is not the most imortant point at stake. The rewards of working co-operatively is an attractive alternative to a growing number of young people.
