Description
A scientific study of behavioural treatment of autistic children, which includes footage of children treated in 1964 and ’65, and also shows them 25 years later. It shows graphically how they regress after interuptions of treatment. Researched is O. Ivar Lovas. Ph.D., UCLA, USA. It also describes a project begun in 1970 involving children under four in an intensive home and community-based treatment programme, which enables half the treated children to functional normally.
