This programme about modern religious cults in the 80’s assesses the allegations made against them especially of splitting up families, brainwashing converts and financial chicanery. Interviews with representatives of the Moonies, scientology and Hare Krishna, as well as dissatisfied ex-members, anxious parents, the Charity Commissioners and MP’s.

The imagery and film quality may not be to modern standards but is useful for historical use.
