This campaign works to protect all bears from extinction in the wild and from cruelty in captivity. Five of the eight species are in danger of exctinction and all are under threat. Habitat loss, international trade in bear gall bladders and other body parts, bear baiting, exploitation of bears in Asian bear parks, in zoos and as pets in South America, are all shown to be contributing to the decline in bear numbers and the abuses of all bear species around the world.
