Description
A documentary on the bush people and their introduction to western civilisation. The 50,000 bush people in the Kalahari desert are the oldest race and culture in Africa. Till recently they have lived in their traditional way, gathering roots and fruit and hunting. This was possible because part of the desert had been protected as a wildlife reserve. Now the Botswana government is going to gather the bush people into settlements so that the Kalahari can be used for safari tourism and mining. In this film the people themselves tell their story.
