Description
Shows how the Association, with the support of the local authority, helps people with varied disabilities enjoy the freedom of movement water allows. Using the Halliwick swimming method, where volunteers work on a one-to-one basis, without buoyancy aids, entries, exits, adaptation of strokes and the use of the head to control the body position are explained. Some of the swimmers featured helped finance the production with sponsored swims, and some are seen in the sea practising for a victorious channel swim.
