Aimed at people about to retire after working full-time, this programme asks if the time ahead is something to be treasured and made use of, or will it drag emptily? Gives an idea of the positive ways in which many people have used their extra leisure time, and how they enjoy themselves, some by helping others in the community and some with constructive hobbies.

While a lot of the points are still valid, it’s interesting to compare the attitudes in the programme with today’s outlook.
