Description
The programme rapidly explores the facilities available to mentally handicapped children when they go to school, and after they have left. Both mild and severe mental handicap schools are shown; adult training centres, sheltered housing, hostels and a mental handicap hospital take up the rest of the programme.
This film made in 1977 reflects the cultural attitudes and language of the time it was made. The imagery and film quality may not be to modern standards. But the issues raised are still relevent to today.
