Description

Examines the problems caused by stress in today’s highly competitive society. The film looks at the possible causes of stress, examines the lives of people particularly at risk and assesses attempts being made made to counteract the dangers. Stress factors contribute to many physical and mental disorders but the situation is not hopeless. More positive ways of coping with stress may include the limited use of drugs, but other ideas such as work enrichment schemes in industry, exercise, relaxation and therapy offer possibilities.
