This film shows the trade unions in Bolivian tin mines, the only opponents of the militaryin Bolivia. Most of the population of Bolivia are native indians, or mestizo. There is a vast inequality of income and there are no proper safety of health provisions. As the mines close, the unions are losing their influence and are looking for other types of social participation.
