Description
Made in 1986, the situation in Nicargua is vastly different from as shown in this film. Conscious of danger, yet stirred by the challege, Christians in revolutionary Nicaragua are working together in their commitment to the poor. Portrays four development projects in which ordinary people are struggling for a better future. It focuses on a resettlement project for internal refugees, a village in the war-torn north, a traditional midwives training scheme and an agricultural co-op set up after the land reform. The people involved describe their problems, achievements and aspirations in the context of economic cris and counter-revolutionary violece. This video is a witness to their courage and faith.
