Description
Under the supervision of a hospital psychiatrist, a group of out-patients is invited to take part in a series of group therapy sessions extending over a period of months. Granada’s “World in Action” team followed the progress of members of the group in coming to terms with their various problems through interaction with each other and the therapist. A postman who is so shy he finds it hard some days to deliver letters, becomes outgoing — we see him on his first date. The film as well as being suitable for specialist audiences could also be used by lay audiences.
