Green Flutes

A flute band from Glasgow visit Belfast in 1983.

Against a background of poverty and unemployment in Glasgows Govan district, a band of musicians practice and play. They visit Belfast at the height of the troubles, playing and taking part in political rallies. The enormously high blocks of flats back in Glasgow show an impoverished society where people are reduced to numbers on the dole. Of historical interest.
