Description
Don and Mary Streufert’s daughter was brutally murdered. In an effort to come to terms with their inexpressible loss and grief they arrange to meet the man who committed the crime, now in prison. Their other daughter Emily also participates. This is part of a growing movement for restorative justice, based on the principle of individual and community responsibility, which brings healing to both victims and offenders. This film documents that dialogue over a three year period, providing an intimate and riveting glimpse into a bold new approach to criminal justice.
