Tackles the difficulties faced by unemployed people of selection interviews. The video consists of four ‘cameos’ – three how not to be interviewed and one which gets it right. Through slightly outrageous comedy it stresses all the negative aspects of three very different types of people. It is designed to be shown to a group of students with discussion after each ‘cameo’, and gives a clear idea of what is expected at an interview. Suitable for all audiences.
This film made in 1984 reflects the cultural attitudes, social work procedures and language of the time it was made. The imagery and film quality may not be to modern standards. But the issues raised are timeless.
