Description
A documentary film shot on Broadland’s marshes which reveals the complex issues involved in land drainage in the area. The ecological consequences of deep drainage are explored, and the political background as to why the land is being trained is also examined. The film aims to clarify the subject and draw attention to the urgent need for fundamental rethinking of our present agriculture policy in the area.
The imagery and film quality may not be to modern standards but is useful for historical use.
