Mainly devoted to the early recognition of primary cutaneous melanoma. It was rare in the past and treatment results were poor. Although the incidence is now increasing, the results of treatment have improved. Most important factor affecting cure is early diagnosis.
This film made in 1985 reflects the medical understanding of the time it was made and may not reflect modern procedures. The imagery and film quality may not be to modern standards but is useful for historical use.
