Coping with Aids

Description

A film-based training package aimed at raising awareness of those problems experienced by people with AIDS, and to portray their reactions and responses to the illness, and also to the health care and support they are offered. In producing this programme, people with AIDS were given total freedom to tell their own stories and to share experiences, some of which are extremely positive, whilst others are very distressing. The package, offers a framework of good practice for health, social and community agencies in providing help for people with AIDS. A number of bodies assisted in the production of the package including the Terrence Higgins Trust. Hygia Communications.

The imagery and film quality may not be to modern standards but is useful for historical use.
