Description

A documentary history of the nuclear history in South Australia. Incorporating rare archival footage and contemporary interviews with workers, scientists, politicians and aborigines it presents a devastating analysis of the effects of Uranium and it’s products. Through three examples, a Uranium mine, a Uranium oxide plant and a British atomic weapons testing site, the film illustrates that in Australia, as in other countries, the dangers of radiation are not fully recognised still despite the mounting death toll.
