Description
Prize-winning film which features Osnat, a 16 year old girl with Down’s Syndrome, who plays the part of a girl trying to come to terms with her disability, and assert her independence from her over-protective mother. Her grandmother is a warm, accepting and tenderly loving woman, and when Osnat stays with her for a weekend she is invited to a birthday party where she becomes the assistant to a mysterious, wise magician. She asks him to use his magic to make her Down’s Syndrome disappear, but he teaches her the magic of self-acceptance instead.
