Description
A group of young Masai men attain maturity. This is a follow-up to anthropologist M.Llewelyn-Davies’ study of Masai Women. The film traces the progress of a small group of young men through the real as well as the ceremonial obstacles to maturity or “Moranhood”.
This film was made in 1975, so the film and sound quality is not to modern standards. This should not diminish its value as a historic record.
