Description
The Kazakhs are one of the minority tribes who occupy some 50% of China’s land mass. For the first time a Western television team has been given access to one of these groups, and was allowed to spend six weeks filming a detailed account of their day-to-day life. The Kazakhs are nomadic horsemen of the far north west and this film, concentrating on one family, documents the changes in their way of life, and the traditions they still cling to. Part of the Inside China series.
