Drama on war, acted in the 'bare stage' style

Four actors, with powerful simplicity, breathe life and immediacy into one of our most pressing problems: what to do about war, starting from the dropping of the bomb on Hiroshima. Acted in the style of Thornton Wilder's 'Our Town' - a bare stage and the minimum of props. Could be used also for teaching drama. Exciting, amusing, yet putting its point across like a slap in the face. Written by Philip Lewis.

This film was made in 1963 in black and white, so the film and sound quality is not to modern standards. This should not diminish its value as a moving historic record.
