Description
An exploration of the disabling society, using computer generated and animated graphics, animated concrete poetry texts, scanned stills and live video inserts and inlays. The stereo soundtrack of original electronic music used the samples spoken texts as a base. The team of actors, musicians, technicians, director/producer etc is an integrated team of people with and without disabilities. It was a disability led project. A ‘poetry pop video’ which expresses the alienating experience of disability.
Made in 1995 this film reflects the cultural attitudes and language of the time it was made. The issues raised are timeless. The film quality may not be to modern standards.
