Westminster Active Pensioners is a pressure group started in 1980, which campaigns for the rights of old people in that part of London. They realise that in spite of increases in the old age pension, they real value has dropped, and with the cuts in social services many people are suffering. So they get together to campaign for improvements and to try and stop further cuts, as well as helping each other.
