Money shortages in the N.H.S have seriously affected the Blood Products Laboratory. The vital part of the Blood Transfusion Service needs completely rebuilding but the Department of Health has decided to spend £1,250,000 on improvements. This follows the dropping of the idea of selling Laboratory to private interests.
The imagery and film quality may not be to modern standards but is useful for historical use.
