The exploratory and individuation phase continues. “Goal corrected behaviour” (Bowlby) is observed. His mother starts weaning Felix on to milk from a bottle. We see how she deals with fear situations in order to minimise anxiety but reinforces exploratory behaviour both inside and outside the house. We can follow the early development of language. Felix is also filmed after his first long separation from both parents. The last part of the film follows Felix during his first birthday party. We see him interact with other children and a young baby and we see him walk for the first time.
