Description
In this part we can see how the mother deals with the need to change from synchronous action to letting the baby initiate more (Brazelton and Travarthen). Stranger anxiety is shown in several different situations. One can see Felix’s growing independence and exploration as the development of crawling makes him physically independent. We see how his mother and father deal with this new development. Felix is seen swimming again. He stops using a dummy. He sits in a highchair to eat solids and is now fed by both parents.
