Description
Study of a comprehensive school (Countesthorpe, Leicester) where progressive ideas are really working. There is a school council where staff and pupils make decisions. Creative work by the children encourages the enthusiasm which can lead to self-discipline, rather than imposed rules, and the academic results are encouraging.
This film is of historical interest but the issues raised are still current.
