Description
The Hiroshima Nagasaki publishing committee organised an appeal in Japan whereby ordinary people each paid for a few feet of film, raising thousands of pounds, in order to purchase archive film shot by the invading American forces after the dropping of the ‘A’ bombs. This horrific footage has been incorporated into a film showing the lives of some of the more recent victims of the bombs effects and the history of their ordeal. Their message to the world is: ‘Never should such agonies and suffering of hell that all of us underwent be allowed to be repeated in the future.’
