Description
An interview with a very independent lady, who remembers different times and different standards. Slightly crippled at birth, Miss Goodfellow earned her living by sewing. She has a strong sense of humour. She bought her first car in 1934, and revelled in the independence it brought. Of use in oral history, and women’s rights studies.
Made in 1978 this film reflects the cultural attitudes and language of the time it was made. The issues raised are timeless. The film quality may not be to modern standards.
