Following on the Sarah Tisdall and Clive Ponting revelations about dirty tricks in government, this programme goes into detail about disclosures by two MI5 staff about the surveillance of CND, National Council for Civil Liberties members and other people who by no stretch of the imagination could be classed as subversives.
This film is of historical interest but the issues raised are still current.
