This film, made in the 1980, examines the implications of 150 years of trade union legislation. It uses archive material as well as simple dramatised sequences and interviews, specially with Lord Wedderburn Professor of Labour Law, to illustrate the history of union struggle An additional element is a discussion involving shop stewards which highlights similarities between past and present anti-union laws.
