Description
A horrifying documentary on South Africa’s clandestine aggression in Mozambique. The victims describe the terror tactics being used against them and against the rural population as a whole – the burning of villages, lorries, buses, cars, schools, medical posts, etc,, as well as the killing, maiming and kidnapping of people. The MNR claims to be a resistance movement but far from trying to win the hearts of minds of the Mozambique people it is engaged in a campaign of pure terror. The film gives some shocking examples: A teacher who had his nose and ears cutt off. Twi women attacked in their fields. Survivors of ambushes against passenger buses in which people were burned to death. Refugees from MNR areas telling about the lives they were forced to live. English version of a Swedish television film.
