Description
These films are about the events of the first two years of human life, starting right at the beginning, almost nine months before birth, and moving through to the time when the growing infant stands on his own two feet. However, they are as much about parental experiences of pregnancy, childbirth and look after a baby, as they are about growth and develoopment of the child, made as part of the “Facts for life” – For fifteen year-olds and over, these are also quite suitable for adult audiences.
The of the remaining four films in this series which cover some of the important aspects of the early years of parenthood. This one deals with the arrival of a new baby in the family and the physical and emotional preparations which need to be made.
The imagery and film quality may not be to modern standards but is useful for historical use.
