Description

The long term process of bereavement, and coming to terms with the death of someone close. Bill Lovell found it hard, and suffered with depression. Martin Corke was greatly helped by the plans he and his wife made before her death, and by her encouragement. The little girl’s parents experienced months of deep despair, but now feel their lives have new meaning, and Bill Thorn found that his religious beliefs, and memories of his wife, sustained him.
Made in 1985 this film reflects the cultural attitudes and language of the time it was made. The issues raised are timeless.
