Description
Classic film by Veronica Sherborne, pioneer of the idea of dance and movement for handicapped children, in which a group of drama students at Bristol University learn the art of movement. They explore awareness of their own bodies, gravity, weight and interaction with others in expression of aggression, tenderness and trusting. Facial expressions are also explored. One aim is to give intending actors confidence and greater proficiency in movement. On a wider plane the training they receive may help improve their sensitivity to some aspects of non-verbal communication.
